Established in 1989 with the production of spare parts, Akplas started to produce all of the latched sprinkler pipes and equipment in 1998, following the production of clamped sprinkler pipes in 1995.

It developed the clamp product group in 2003, and started production by taking the patent of the spring clamp product group.

In 2004, the round drip irrigation pipe included in the agricultural irrigation pipe group was produced as 2lt and 4lt; PE infrastructure pipes, which are also important in agricultural irrigation, which is an infrastructure product in the same year, are between 16 and 400 diameters; LDPE range between 16 and 160 diameters started to be produced.

In 2007, as a result of our R&D studies on sprinkler irrigation pipes, we became the FIRST company to produce monoblock (one piece) for all spare parts.

We became the sprinkler irrigation sector leader in 2008.

In 2009-2010, we produced the sprinkler pipe and its spare parts with a diameter of 50; In addition, 200 and 225 diameters were produced upon request and our company gained the distinction of being the first with this diameter production. During this period, two production facilities in Osmaniye became operational. In the same year, flat drip irrigation group production and PVC clean water infrastructure production were started and it took the lead in terms of agricultural irrigation pipe groups.

Akplas not only produces in the sector, but also produces new products for the sector with its R&D studies.
